Auto mode lets Claude Code decide on permissions itself instead of asking you each time. For a browser action in the Chrome integration, auto mode used to skip all permission checks whenever the action had been classified, the target site was known and nothing had been denied.
Now it skips all checks only if that site has not been marked as one whose host must stay pinned. For a marked site, the action runs under a plan limited to a list of allowed domains.
