When Claude Code opens the page for claiming a promotion, on the web or in the desktop app, it can now add your organization's unique ID to the link. The ID comes from the CLAUDE_CODE_ORGANIZATION_UUID environment variable if it is set, and otherwise from your account. This only happens when a remote setting sent by Anthropic's servers asks for it. With no such setting, it stays off, and the link opens unchanged as before.
The promo command also shows a different message when you are not eligible.
If you belong to several organizations, this lets the claim link take you to the right organization's page.
