What
Claude Code keeps a list of the plugins you have installed. When reading that list fails, three plugin errors now carry a note saying so:
Not cached: the usual advice, "Run /plugin to refresh the plugin cache", now has the note added after it.
Not installed: for a plugin enabled in project settings, the message now says the plugin is enabled in project settings, but whether it is installed could not be checked. The note replaces the usual suggestion to run a plugin install ... --scope project command.
Not found: the error carries the same note.
Previously these errors always suggested /plugin or an install command, even when the list could not be read.
Why
Claude Code no longer tells you to reinstall a plugin that may already be installed when the real problem is that its list of installed plugins could not be read.
