What
Directory sync copies your local changes into the checkout, which is the copy of the files a session works on. When it cannot bring your changes over, Claude receives a notice about it. Two of those notices are now shorter:
Missing history: Claude is told only that your latest changes could not be brought into the checkout, and that the checkout is unchanged. It is asked to say so if you expect those changes to be there already. The notice no longer explains commit bases or says a resend was requested.
Missing link: the notice no longer claims your machine has been asked to send its current files again.
Why
Claude no longer tells you a resend is on its way when one may not be.
