What
Claude Code can save notes to a memory store so that information carries over between sessions. When Claude writes to a personal memory store, Claude Code now:
- reads a related shared item
- merges the new content with the current document
- runs the merged result through its safety checks again
- updates the shared item once the write succeeds
The write result now also says whether the shared item is a team item or belongs to a shared store. Before, personal writes were saved directly with no merge step.
