When Claude writes to a personal memory store, Claude Code now:\n\n- reads a related shared item\n\n- merges the new content with the current document\n\n- runs the merged result through its safety checks again\n\n- updates the shared item once the write succeeds\n\nThe write result now also says whether the shared item is a team item or belongs to a shared store.
