What
Claude Code formats Claude's replies in the terminal from markdown, a plain-text formatting style. When it draws an item in a list, it now skips blank space at the start of the item. It skips that space both when deciding whether the item begins with a block such as a quote and when drawing the item. Before, it looked past the blank space to decide but still drew it.
Blockquotes, which are quoted and indented passages, are now processed before being drawn when they sit inside a list item.
