Unclear The exact new appearance of blockquotes and links is not known.
What
Claude Code formats replies using markdown, a simple text format for things like links and quotes. The way it draws some of these in the terminal has been reworked:
Blockquotes, which are quoted passages, are now drawn differently. Previously each quoted line started with a faint bar and was shown in italics.
Links and images now show their web address in a different way, which takes the link's title into account.
Email links starting with mailto: are now recognised whatever their letter case.
Why
Quoted text and links in Claude's replies may look different in your terminal.
