When Claude Code looks through folders for plugins (add-ons that extend Claude Code), a folder that has .claude-plugin/marketplace.json but no .claude-plugin/plugin.json is now treated as a marketplace root, a folder that holds a collection of plugins. Its .claude-plugin folder is left out of the list of contents and the result is marked isMarketplaceRoot.
The check for plugin marker files now gives one of three answers: there, absent or unsure. A subfolder is skipped only when its marker is definitely absent.
Why
Marketplace folders are recognized for what they are instead of being mistaken for a single plugin. Subfolders are no longer skipped just because a marker file could not be checked.
