What
A permission dialog asks whether Claude Code may do something. If you press Ctrl+C (or a similar key) once while one is open, its hint now reads "Press again to cancel." It says "exit" only when the dialog is set up to quit on a second press, through a new setting, exitOnCtrlCD, which is off by default. A new inputGuideMinHeight setting was also added.
Why
The hint now describes what a second keypress actually does in most dialogs, which is cancel the request and not quit Claude Code.
