What

Claude Code can remove content produced by its advisor feature from a conversation. After that removal, an advisor_stripped attachment is now added to the conversation when both of these are true:

  • The conversation already contains a reply from Claude.
  • One of the new messages is an advisor_stripped attachment.

An attachment is an extra piece of information Claude Code adds to a conversation behind the scenes.

Why

The conversation now keeps a record that advisor content was removed partway through, so the removal does not go unmarked.
