What
Claude Code adds many new error messages for cases where linking a 'computer' (a tool host) to a session should be refused, covering project sessions, machine credentials, routine- or reminder-owning sessions, Cowork tasks, and agent-owned sessions.
A new local check (We) verifies identity and session state before signing a connect request.
A new helper (Ft) extracts and validates an attachServeRequest (containing a workId and environmentId, matched against cse_/env_ id patterns) from a host description, used to bind this data into the signed connection proof.
attachServeRequest is also registered as a new settings-scope key, classified as a preference.
Why
This adds proper validation and clearer error reporting for the process of attaching a computer to a session, making it explicit which kinds of sessions are and aren't allowed to be linked this way.
