In cloud (CCR) remote sessions, Claude sees placeholder tools for connecting "Claude in Chrome", "Browser" and "Computer use". They now take an endsRelayOnCall option, and a fourth placeholder was added.

request_computer, labelled "Your computer", does nothing when called. It is deferred and read-only and hasendsRelayOnCall: !1, so it records no request. - Its description says it cannot connect a computer, and that tools whose names start with
mcp__remote-devices__, if any, run on the user's computer. - A new result text tells Claude that the call did not connect a computer and no tool here can, to use
mcp__remote-devices__tools if present, and otherwise to carry on with its own tools and tell the user if the task needs their computer. That tool is enabled only in some sessions.
Why
Claude is steered toward remote-device tools, or to be honest with you, instead of claiming your computer is connected when nothing in the session can connect it. Calling a browser or computer placeholder can now end or hand off a relay.
