A Claude Code CLI flag, read out of the shipped bundle.
It has been in the build since v2.1.186, including the newest one read.
Option of claude mcp login <name>, which authenticates with an MCP server (HTTP, SSE or claude.ai connector). With it no browser is opened, so you use the printed authorization URL yourself. For HTTP and SSE servers you then paste the redirect URL back at the prompt (stdin must be a terminal); for a claude.ai connector you authorize on claude.ai and it appears in the next session. Meant for SSH or headless use.
Not Anthropic's. Written by Claude Opus 5.5 from reading the v2.1.285 bundle, and it can be wrong.
