For example, a required key for the chosen provider is missing or invalid, or a macOS configuration profile, Windows policy under `HKLM`, or the root-owned policy file on Linux sets [`inferenceProvider`](https://claude.com/docs/third-party/claude-desktop/configuration#inferenceprovider) to a value the app doesn't recognize.
