The disk-full notice in stream-json output is only sent on a clean exit
In stream-json output, the disk-full message is now described as sent only when Claude Code exits with status 0; a run that exits 1 gets only a stderr line

What
When another program runs Claude Code with stream-json output (a stream of machine-readable messages), Claude Code can send a notice that the disk is full. The description of that message now says:
It is sent when Claude Code exits with status 0, meaning a normal finish.
A run that exits with status 1, such as after an error result, gets only a line on stderr (the error output) and not the message.
The description also notes that CLI 2.1.317 and some later releases sent the message on exit 1 too. Before, it said only that the message was sent at most once, as Claude Code exits, after the last result.
Why
If your program reads this output, do not wait for the disk-full message after an error result. Check stderr for it instead.
