What
A skill is a set of instructions Claude can use, stored in a file called SKILL.md. When Claude proposes a change to one of your skills, it follows built-in instructions titled "Saving skills". Those instructions no longer say:
Saving a proposal replaces that skill's whole SKILL.md.
Claude should read the existing file first and propose the complete updated file.
Why
This changes how Claude drafts updates to your skills, since it is no longer told to write out the full file each time.
