What
Skills are folders of instructions that Claude can load when they are needed. When Claude Code looks for skills while you work, it now skips any skills folder inside a folder of files downloaded from connectors, and logs that it skipped it. Another place where Claude Code looks for skills can now stop early.
MCP tool calls can also allow and relay tasks, and the summary of MCP connections can say "tasks relayed".
Why
Files downloaded from a connector cannot add skills, which keeps downloaded content from changing what Claude is told to do.
