What

The menu for rewinding or summarizing a conversation can now show an option called Resume from summary. Choosing it has Claude write a summary of the conversation so far, and you carry on from that summary. The option is only shown under some conditions.

Why

Continuing from a summary keeps the conversation going with a shorter history in place of the full one.
