What
When a plugin is renamed, Claude Code updates your settings to use the new name. It now handles settings sources that are held. It does not rewrite them, and it records that outcome. Before, it wrote to every settings scope it could edit.
Why
Plugins renamed inside managed or held settings are no longer rewritten.
