What

Claude Code keeps a copy in memory of which plugins are installed. Installing, removing or restoring a plugin used to throw that copy away, so the list had to be read again from disk. These actions can now update the copy in place instead, or still reread from disk, depending on how they are called.

Why

It avoids reloading the whole plugin state every time one plugin changes.
