What

Plugins, add-ons that extend Claude Code, can set a backdrop behind what Claude Code draws.

  • ui.backdrop, which took id, glass and colorScheme, is removed. Plugins that call it no longer have that method.
  • The new theme.set takes only { backdrop: { id, glass?, colorScheme? } }. Anything else in the backdrop is filtered out before it is sent.
  • The new theme.clear clears the theme.
  • The draw function no longer clears the backdrop when passed undefined.
  • Separately, a new voice-call origin case appears next to slack-ping.

Why

Plugins that call ui.backdrop, or clear the backdrop by passing undefined, stop working that way. They need to move to theme.set and theme.clear.
