Unclear What turns the stricter checks on is not known.

What

When Claude Code works out which git repository a folder belongs to, it can now reject a gitdir path that is not in its standard form, along with certain extra markers. A gitdir path is where git's own data is kept. These checks apply only when an internal condition is met.

Why

Some repositories that were accepted before may now not be recognised.
