Three remote switches, which Claude Code's servers can set, are involved:
tengu_moonlit_goblet: a setting whosechromeNoteLastoption moves the note about the Chrome tools to the end of the instruction updates Claude receives.tengu_merry_tide: decides whether one deferred tool, a tool loaded only when needed, is available. It falls back to off when the server sends nothing.tengu_rippling_map: still controls the extra mark on HTTP MCP tool calls and still falls back to on.
The Chrome change tests whether putting that note last helps caching, where the model reuses earlier parts of the instructions instead of reading them again.
