Unclear It is not clear what marking input as coming from a connector actually does for the person using it.
What
Two small changes affect how Claude Code handles input and remote sessions:
- Connector input: what you type can now be marked as coming from a connector, meaning an outside service linked to Claude Code. When that mark is present, Claude Code runs an extra step.
- Deleted sessions: a remote session is one running somewhere other than your own machine. On one of the connection types Claude Code uses for remote sessions, a request to end the session with the reason "deleted" no longer gets a reply. Before, every request to end a session got a reply.
Why
Both changes are small. They only matter if you use connectors or remote sessions, where they change what happens in the background when input arrives or a session is deleted.
