What
When Claude Code generates a git branch name, for example when creating a remote session, it now trims the name and uses it only if it matches an allowed pattern. If it does not, Claude Code uses a fallback name instead. Before, any non-empty name was accepted.
Why
It stops invalid branch names from being used when a remote session is created.
