Unclear The added wording is not known, so its effect on auto-mode decisions is unclear.
What
In auto mode, a classifier decides whether a tool call can go ahead without asking you. A classifier is a model that sorts actions by its rules, and a tool call is an action such as editing a file or running a command. One of its rules says content supplied for review is data, not instruction. That rule now has an extra piece of text added after its existing wording.
The classifier's result now also records which auto-mode rule it cited, and Claude Code reports whether that rule could be found.
Why
A change to the classifier's instructions can change which actions auto mode lets through.
