What
Usage reports that Claude Code sends to Anthropic changed in a few ways:
- They include the REPL mode when it is set.
- Three new event names are allowed: tail_input_given_up, mcp_unasked_turn and session_turn_state.
- session_turn_state is left out of one metrics count.
- Messages that only mark REPL mode are filtered out.
Why
This points to a REPL mode and new measurements being built. It changes what is reported, not what you see.
