What

A subagent is a helper agent that Claude starts to work on part of a task, often in the background. Resuming a subagent can now wake it up to handle results waiting in a queue. If nothing is queued, the resume fails with "has no queued results to wake for."

The task now also keeps a record of markers carried over from earlier runs. Before, it only stored a yes-or-no value.

Why

This changes how background agents pick up again and what they bring with them from before.
