When you hit a rate limit, Claude Code shows a menu of options. Choosing to ask your admin sends a usage report to Anthropic, and that report no longer includes a mode field. The menu's options, including auto-resume, work as before.

Why

This only changes what is reported. Nothing you see or do in the menu is different.
