What
Some requests that Claude Code sends carry a program_use_case_id value, which labels what the request is being used for. Before, the only test was whether such an ID existed and matched a known list. Now an extra condition is also checked, and when that condition is met the value is left off the request entirely.
Why
This value is used to attribute usage, for example for billing. The change means some requests that used to carry it may now go out without it.
