What
The preview tunnel, the connection that carries previews over Remote Control, now sends its content as raw bytes. Before, it encoded the content as base64, a way of turning data into plain text. Claude Code picks between two ways of encoding the bytes when it runs.
Why
Raw bytes take less room than base64 text, so the same preview sends less data.
