What

Claude Code keeps you signed in by refreshing your login in the background. When that refresh no longer works, it shows "OAuth refresh token is no longer valid; run /login to re-authenticate". That error now also records whether a time limit was reached.

Why

This lets Claude Code tell a refresh that ran out of time apart from a login that was actually cancelled. Either way, running /login signs you in again.
