What
MCP servers are outside programs that give Claude extra tools. After you add one, Claude Code shows a short confirmation. When Claude Code routes MCP tools through the REPL (an environment where Claude runs code that calls tools), that message now says the server's tools are callable inside the REPL environment. Before, it always said the tools should now be available.
Why
In REPL mode the message now tells you how the new tools are actually reached.
