What
Remote Control lets you reach a running Claude Code session from another device, and cloud sessions run on Anthropic's servers. Claude Code now has new explanations for these sessions:
- The chat's claude.ai Project changed.
- The chat was moved out of its claude.ai Project.
- Forwarding was turned off because the session cannot confirm that it is limited to trusted devices.
A message that sets a chat's Project, called set_attached_project, is now refused when it comes from the host. Only the service may send it to a cloud agent. Reports of denied permissions in Remote Control sessions also gain a note about device reporting.
Why
These are messages people using Remote Control and cloud sessions will see, so a session that stops forwarding or changes Project now says why.
