What

The SDK is the kit for running Claude Code from your own programs. Its data now describes a field for when the claude.ai login used by the process ends for good. The value:

  • is a date and time in ISO 8601 format, a standard way of writing them
  • comes from the end of the login's chain of renewals
  • is either the server's own date or an estimate of 30 days
  • may be up to 3 days later than the real end
  • is absent for API keys and other kinds of credentials
Why

Programs built on the SDK can warn people before their claude.ai login expires instead of finding out when requests start failing.
