What
When you type while Claude is working, your messages wait in a queue and can be merged. Three things changed.
- Interrupted work: a message that continues work that was interrupted is no longer merged with others.
- Generated messages: messages Claude Code adds on your behalf are no longer counted as your own in one check, when a feature check passes.
- Dimmed input: the delay before pending input is dimmed now depends on whether a timer is already running.
Why
These change how waiting input is grouped and when it dims.
