The background task list shows work Claude Code is doing in the background. In internal builds only, it can now show rows for local script tasks. A script with no name is shown with a placeholder name.
Two related pieces are limited to internal builds in the same way:
a way for a built-in tool to refuse a request from inside the running program
a list of allowed tool names: searchTools, describeTool, ask, haiku, opus, sonnet and fable
Why
These look like features for Anthropic's own builds. People using the public release are not expected to see them.
