What

Artifacts are pieces of content that Claude Code can publish or share. When Claude Code decides whether one may be published, it already recorded whether it was going outside your organisation. It now also records, as a separate flag, whether the audience is outside, and that flag starts off false.

Why

This gives the sharing rules one more thing to tell apart, so publishing to an outside audience can be handled differently from publishing outside the organisation.
