What
A remote session is a Claude Code session that runs on another machine. Some of the information stored about it is tied to the session's current status. When Claude Code strips that status information out, it now also drops a status-tied field whose value is empty, provided the configuration lists that field as one whose deletion should outlast the status. Before, every status-tied field was kept.
Why
In practice this changes how deletions in a remote session's stored information are carried through when its status is cleared.
