What

When a tool's result (the output of an action Claude took, such as running a command) runs onto further lines, those lines start with a small marker. That marker is now always hidden from screen readers, the programs that read the screen aloud. Before, it could be given a custom label for screen readers to speak; it no longer can.

Why

A small accessibility change to what a screen reader announces for tool output.
