What
The theme picker, which asks you to "Choose the text style that looks best with your terminal", changed in two ways:
- its help text now always appears under the heading
- cancelling it now ends the theme preview and goes back, instead of exiting Claude Code in places where it used to
Previously some screens that showed the picker exited the program when you cancelled it, while others went back.
Why
Cancelling the theme picker may now behave differently on screens where it used to quit, such as during first-time setup.
