Subagents are helper agents Claude can hand work to. Claude Code checks their setup, and if that check fails it now does not run it again for about a day. Until then the check reports an error that says "subagent config check failed within the last day; not repeated yet". Before, a failure was not remembered.
Why
This avoids running the same failing check over and over.
