What
When a search stops before it finishes, Claude Code now says so: the message explains that the search most likely hit its time limit and that the results are incomplete.
Separately, when Claude Code builds command-line flags for a permission mode (the setting for how much Claude may do without asking), it now always includes --permission-mode with that mode. Before, it did so only when an internal feature check passed.
Why
A search that ran out of time no longer looks as though it found everything there is. The permission mode is now carried along every time one is set, rather than depending on a check.
