What
When your computer offers its tools to a cloud session, Claude Code sends a usage report to Anthropic. That report now also records:
- the session's interface and its version
- the lowest version the session accepts
- whether the two sides fit, and the version they agreed on
A mismatch is recorded as either the computer being too old or the session being too old.
Why
Your computer and the cloud session now agree on a version before tools are shared, and mismatches are now reported.
