What
In remote sessions (Claude Code running on another machine or in the cloud while you watch from here), Claude Code now keeps track of:
- each message it sends
- when each turn ends, including turns that were stopped or killed
This tracking is named for taking back a message with Esc. Remote sessions also gain a queue of lines to send right away, which the main screen picks up, and sending a message can now be marked as sent immediately. No switch guards this code.
Why
It points to ways of withdrawing a queued message, or pushing one through at once, in remote and cloud sessions.
