Unclear Which permission setting decides whether the prompt is skipped is not clear.

What

MCP servers are outside programs that give Claude extra tools and resources, such as files or documents. Before, reading any MCP resource always asked for your permission. Claude Code now checks which skill resources the server lists. When the resource Claude wants to read is one of them, the read is allowed without a prompt.

Why

Skills that come from MCP servers can load their own resources without interrupting you. It also means more reads happen without your approval, so only connect MCP servers you trust.
