Unclear It is not known what the interrupt behaviour actually does differently when it is turned on.
When work is interrupted, a remote switch can change what Claude Code does next. That switch is now checked after a new environment variable, CLAUDE_CODE_FIZZY_GROVE. An environment variable is a named value you set in your shell before starting a program. If it is set, Claude Code uses it. If not, it uses the remote switch, which is off unless the server turns it on. The flag server returned off for this site's account and for the anonymous baseline, and no reading has yet been taken under this release.
The same code now returns a value for every other reason work stops, where before it returned nothing.
You can turn this interrupt behaviour on yourself without waiting for the server.

This account: off · anonymous baseline: off · compiled default in v2.1.317: off
These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.
