When the gateway meters usage, meaning it records how much each developer uses, it now also saves that developer's IdP groups for the day. An IdP, or identity provider, is the system an organization uses for sign-in. Its groups are usually teams or departments.
If saving the groups fails, the gateway warns that it could not save a developer's IdP groups for today. The warning adds that the cost report may show that spend under the previous day's groups.
Why
Cost reports can be broken down by IdP group. When the warning appears, expect that developer's spend to be filed under the previous day's groups.
