What
MCP servers are add-ons that give Claude extra tools. The status Claude Code reports for each one can now say that the server was added by Claude Code's cloud service. This applies to servers reached over the web. An app showing that status displays such a server as coming with the session and offers no connector actions for it.
Why
Apps that show a remote session's MCP servers can tell which ones the cloud supplied and which ones you can manage.
